Close my account

Please note that account closure is final. If you might invest again in future, you may leave your account open. If your account is empty, you will not be charged anything to leave it open, and we will not typically close an account without your request. If you want to opt out of communications from BullionVault, you can change your preferences in ACCOUNT > SETTINGS.

The procedure

Step 1. Log into your account. Sell all your bullion, cancel any open orders and withdraw any funds that you wish. Any property remaining in a funded account after the account has been closed will be donated to a recognized children’s charity.
Step 2. Send an email to support@BullionVault.com from your registered email address, confirming your username and that you would like the account to be closed.

What happens next?

  • You will receive an email confirming that your account has been closed. You may continue to receive emails from BullionVault for up to 48 hours.
  • Your final, closing statement will be sent out at the end of the month, by email to your registered email address.
  • No fee will be charged for closing the account, and you will not receive further correspondence from BullionVault.
