El Financiero: Buy Gold in Times of Trouble

LONDON, 19 January 2017 – Mexico's El Financiero newspaper today recommends BullionVault as a secure, low-cost way for private investors to hedge against "uncertainty" and risk in 2017.

Launched in 1981, El Financiero is one of Mexico's leading financial newspapers, running one of the country's 150 most visited websites.

"Gold bullion is a good alternative in times of financial uncertainty," says the popular My Finances section of today's printed edition.

"Gold bars come in different shapes and sizes, and buying larger units allows you to reduce costs. Proportionally, the most expensive are ingots of 1 gram, which cost at least twice the actual value of their gold content."

Explaining how London Good Delivery bars weighing 400 ounces are "the cheapest", the newspaper says that "digital platforms like BullionVault allow anyone to buy this gold in fractions, from 1 gram, and store any amount in a professional vault, thus maintaining the maximum resale value."

Owning Good Delivery gold on BullionVault is cheaper than even exchange-traded trust funds (ETFs) the report goes on.
