LONDON, 18 August 2026 − BBC national radio's flagship current affairs programme Today spoke this morning to BullionVault director of research Adrian Ash about the latest moves in the gold price.
With long-term interest rates rising in the bond market, the rally in gold signals growing concerns over the sustainability of Western government deficits and debt, Adrian told Radio 4's business editor.
