BBC 5 Live: Gold 'the True Anti-Politician'

LONDON, 3 November 2016 – BullionVault head of research Adrian Ash was a guest this morning on the BBC's flagship breakfast finance show, Wake Up to Money on Radio 5 Live.

Speaking to hosts Mickey Clark and Colletta Smith about why gold prices have turned higher ahead of next week's US election, "Trump has been called the anti-politician," said Adrian, "but gold is the real antidote.

Unlike politicians, "Gold doesn't make any promises and doesn't lie," he explained "It just tends to do well when other assets don't, and especially when people lose confidence in central bankers and politicians.

"That's what we've seen happening all through 2016."
