LONDON, 8 October 2015 – Comment from BullionVault's head of research, Adrian Ash, is quoted today in the latest report on silver prices from Bloomberg, the global financial news and data provider.
With silver holdings needed to back the shares in exchange-traded trust fund products dropping to 2-year lows amid a price rise to 3-month highs, "The rally in prices over the past few days has proven a very tempting selling opportunity for long-term investors," Bloomberg quotes Adrian.
"Sentiment towards precious metals remains weak given the expectations of higher rates in the US, and that's encouraging investors to sell silver ETFs."
