LONDON, 28 September 2014 – The UK's best-selling "quality" weekend paper The Sunday Times today highlights BullionVault as a popular, cost-effective way to buy physical gold for investment.
Reporting on the Royal Mint's new coin dealing website, launched this week, The Sunday Times says there are other ways you can already buy and sell online, naming BullionVault first and detailing its costs.
BullionVault was also named this weekend as an established, low-cost alternative by BBC Radio 4's MoneyBox consumer affairs show, and by both The Telegraph and Independent newspapers.
The Financial Times noted on Tuesday that the Mint's offer "looks like a pricey way to hold gold," again listing BullionVault's costs for comparison. So too did The Daily Mail's ThisIsMoney team, explaining BullionVault's advantages in detail, as well as the tax efficiency for UK savers of holding such "investment-grade" gold in a SIPP retirement wrapper.
